Hello guys,

I'd like to know if it possible to play à Umineko Chiru without textbox. That is to say, with the text written in full screen. I've played at the firsts fourth chapters without textbox but it appears that I can't find a version of Chiru which don't includes them. If anyone knows how to play at Chiru without textbox, please let me know.

For Umineko Chiru, I find it a little inconvenient to have the save files in a seperate folder,

I'd like to put this on a USB drive so I can just kill some time in school or wherever reading this, so I'd like to relocate the save files and their usage from

C:\ProgramData\ONScripter-EN to

C:\Users\<user>\Downloads\Visual Novels\Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru 5-8\Save Files 

The Save Files folder is just a blank folder I put in there btw.

I'm not great with the whole onscript.cfg deal, so any help would be appreciated.

(Also if possible, make a general response so that this can be utilized by more people)

Hi guys, dunno why but apparently I'm not able to save game. When I press save button nothing really happens except that all other buttons are suddenly gone and all I can do is to press RMB and go back to the game. Any ideas?

I installed the 2.2 tweak patch (Because the 2.5 link is down), and I have pretty annoying problem: everything works except for the dialogue box, because it literally does not appear and makes reading a pain.

please help me i have umineko jp on my pc, t tried to download umitweak nocturne with torrent then extracted it and replaced it in my original umineko folder C:\Program Files\07th Expansion\Umineko8. The folder have to .exe (the japanese and tweaked .exe), i click the english .exe but it says "YOU ARE USING THE WRONG GAME FOR THIS PATCH. THIS PATCH ONLY WORKS WITH EPISODE 8 OF THE SERIES THOUGH IT INCLUDE 5-7 TRANSLATED. IF YOU'RE TRYING FOR TO PLAY DIFFERENT VERSION OF UMINEKO GAMES, PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE...". then i tried to start japanese .exe but not working. Can you help me please?

Greetings I am interested in translating umineko into polish as a personal project, but I have not the slightest idea on how to extract text from the game files neither modify them with my translation or add polish characters, I would really appreciate some guidance on how to start since I'm completely lost.

The sprites in Chiru are noticeably bigger than in EP1-4 and it's bothersome. Was wondering if I could resize the sprites to the size they were in EP1-4.

Hi I tried to download the firstpart of the patch for chiru but when I tried to extract it from 7 zip it said "arc.nsa3 is broken" and wouldn't do anything else. What is this and how can I fix it?

So i was revently on their website looking at their games and such for when the new version of Higurashi was coming out. looking at the game i spotted Higurashi Kai and decided to look at it since it was now on sale, and low and behold their now selling the bundle version not all four arcs no their selling the all in one freaking game now after all this time.

Since im here asking all of the files for Kai and all four of its arcs have been Tweaked by the people at HigurashiTweaks. and since they now have out the all in one bundle version of kai, how would i or anyone else be able to tweak the all in one version of kai with the allready pre existing files from all four seperate files?? 

I downloaded the patch for 1-4 but when I hit the game it won't run but instead says I have either missing or unreadable music files and that it's probably because I installed the game incorrectly. I re-installed Umineko and everything and it's saying the same thing. However when I ran the witch-hunt english version this didn't happen and it worked fine. What do I do?

I found someone who transcripted the first 6 (total of 925.000 approx.), but not the last 2 (the biggest ones).

Hello, I just finished to install umineko no naku koro ni with ps3 sprites, etc, but when I want to save or even load a game, I can't. It's like wheter the save / load screen board disapeared. I really need help

Description : In episode 3, during the fight between Kanon and Lucifer in Kinzo's study, none of the character sprites appear on screen. The issue begins shortly before Lucifer's entrance and persists throught the end of the scene. CG's,backgrounds, insert images and action effects all appear as usual. Only the normal character sprites are absent, and all reappear in the following scene (death of Genji/Kumasawa). I have confirmed that the problem did not exist in version 0.99c (see screenshot). I have also confirmed that the problem is unrelated to the .nsa files for the sprites.

Every time I open the character details screen, when I return, my text box go transparent again (already updated everything in the folder).

Is there anyway to fix that? Or maybe I did something wrong?

Two lines (displayed; before and after the ellipsis) use the same voice bit.

At two points in EP8, a character's sprite does not disappear during a sprite change. The "new" sprite is displayed on top of the "old" one instead.

For another case, I don't have a screenshot, but it's in the end of Bernkastel's game. When Kyrie and Rudolf lift their guns, Kyrie's sprite with lowered arm stays (you can see her arm)

I downloaded Umineko no Naku Koro ni 1-4 (PS3 Sprites + VOICES) but it's all in japanese and no voices. It also seems as if it's the original game and not the ps3 version, and I'm sure I downloaded the right one. What did I do wrong?
